Cookie Policy

Clear cookie choices for European business.

bysepa connects merchants and fintech teams to European banks through one Open Banking API. This page explains the cookies we set. It covers what each one does. It also shows how you stay in control.

The basics

What a cookie is, in plain terms

A cookie is a small text file. Your browser stores it when you visit a site. It helps the site remember your session and your settings. We use a small set of them. We keep that set lean on purpose.

We never use cookies to read your bank data. Account and payment flows run through our licensed partner APIs, not your browser. We also do not train on or resell any data we hold. That rule applies to cookies as well.

The cookies we set

Three groups, each with a clear job

Always on

Strictly necessary

These keep the site secure and working. They hold your session and guard form submissions. The site cannot run without them, so they need no consent.

Optional

Preference

These remember your choices. Think language or a dismissed notice. They make repeat visits smoother. You can switch them off and the site still works.

Optional

Analytics

These count visits in aggregate. They show which pages help merchants most. The data is grouped and never sold. We use it only to improve the platform.

How consent works

You decide, and you can change your mind

01

Choose on arrival

On your first visit you see a banner. Accept all, reject optional ones, or set each group. Nothing optional loads until you choose.

02

We honour it

Your choice is stored for twelve months. We apply it on every page right away. This follows PSD2 and GDPR rules for European users.

03

Change it later

You can update consent at any time. Use your browser settings or email our team. We act on the request without delay.

Your controls

Manage cookies your way

You hold the controls. Below are the main ways to manage what we store. Each one takes effect quickly.

  • Browser settings. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Check the privacy menu for the steps.
  • Per-group consent. Reject preference or analytics cookies and keep only the strictly necessary ones.
  • Do Not Track. We respect this browser signal where the law requires it across European markets.
  • Ask us directly. Email contact@bysepa.com and we will action your request.

Questions about how we handle data?

We built bysepa as a standalone Open Banking brand. We are not a bank and not a card processor. If you want detail on cookies, privacy, or our partner model, talk to us.
